Bio
I
began my artistic career in NYC as a freelancer
after attending the renowned Parson's School of
Design; creating hand-painted clothing,
advertisements for the Yellow Pages and The
Village Voice, framed artworks, portraits and
more. In the 90's I jumped on the digital
bandwagon, mastering computer-aided design and
focusing on graphics, corporate promotional and
logo design. My work has been everywhere from
corporate boardrooms to universities, and even
on the Space Shuttle. Currently the Art Director
at a company located in upstate SC,
I design for
both embroidery and screen print in addition to
promotional and web graphics.
Through the years I continued my freelance work, adding
photography to my portfolio. My water gardening
hobby and love of nature and wildlife has
resulted in an array of stunning photographs
displaying the exquisite details of the natural
world. Additionally, advancements in digital
graphics software prompted the expansion from
traditional art tools to digital art creation
beyond just designing, and into the realm of
true digital painting with realistic brushes and
paint media. The ArtLife galleries show my view
of art and nature as an inseparable expression
of life. My goal is the imagery will be
refreshing, inspiring, and relaxing. |
